Turn Services is currently looking for deckhands for our fleet of towboats. There is an excellent opportunity for advancement and extensive training is provided. Qualified candidates must be safety-conscious and able to work in a physically demanding environment. Turn Services is seeking experienced Captains for full-time, on-site positions in La Porte, TX and nearby locations. Responsibilities include safe vessel navigation, crew supervision, compliance with company policies, and enforcement of the Vessel Security Plan. Candidates must hold a TWIC card and valid Master of Towing endorsements for both IGWR and IWR.

Crewboat Captain

The Crewboat Captain is responsible for the safe, efficient, reliable and environmentally compliant operation of assigned area. The Crewboat Captain must be able to safely escort passengers off and on the boat; ensure safe working conditions; tie off the boat; check the hatches and ensure consistent orderliness of the Crewboat. Acts as a company representative in the day-to-day dealings with customers at their facilities and with representatives of governmental agencies.
